Pedaling Towards a Cure

We wanted to take a moment to celebrate Keri Hlavin, Transitional Care Professional, and Natalie Purdy, NP, who went above and beyond in the Ride to End Alzheimer's. Over three days, these two incredible women biked from Upstate to Charleston, SC, covering an impressive 257 miles. Their dedication and passion for making a difference are genuinely inspiring.

The Ride to End Alzheimer's is an annual event that unites cyclists from diverse backgrounds with a shared mission: to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's research, care, and support. Riders traverse long distances, often through challenging terrain, to symbolize the perseverance and resilience needed to combat this devastating disease. This event generates essential funds and fosters a sense of community and shared purpose among participants and supporters.

Natalie Purdy, NP, shared her motivation for participating in the ride: "The love for riding with people of the same goal. Also, because I take care of so many patients with Alzheimer’s, I want to be a part of helping to find a cure." This year marked her fourth year riding, underscoring her long-standing commitment to the cause. Keri Hlavin, participating for the first time, described the experience as "life-changing." Their words and actions highlight their deep personal connections to the cause and their unwavering desire to contribute to the fight against Alzheimer's.

Join us in giving Keri Hlavin and Natalie Purdy a massive applause for their incredible commitment and for representing our team with such determination and heart. Their achievements inspire us all to go the extra mile, both personally and professionally, to make a meaningful difference in the world.
