A company's value is found within its personnel's experience and skills, and that is undoubtedly true of South Carolina House Calls (SCHC) Nurse Practitioner Selina White. Selina, who today serves her patients in the Pee Dee region, can still remember her first exposure as a healthcare industry volunteer. Inspired by that first experience, Selina acquired an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1997 from Florence-Darlington Technical College. In 2015 she completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a Leadership and Management specialty from Walden University in Baltimore. And in 2018, she acquired a Post-Master with an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner specialty from Maryville University.
Joining SCHC in 2019, Selina brought over 21 years of direct patient care experience to her new team. Today her patients in the Pee Dee region are the beneficiaries of her vast and varied healthcare knowledge. Selina's philosophy is always to put the patient first. "It is not about me; it is always about the patient," she recently stated.
Selina believes that besides serving her community as a medical provider, it is also essential to be involved within your community. Selina's involvement has included mentoring young women entering college for health care careers, coordinating healthcare screenings, and working with the Girl Scouts of America.
