Elizabeth Newsom, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 23 years of extensive clinical experience, primarily in emergency nursing. Elizabeth is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients across the lifespan, with a focus on serving rural and underserved communities.
Elizabeth earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Francis Marion University, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her certifications include:

Elizabeth’s professional journey spans decades of leadership and service. She has held roles as Trauma Coordinator and Chest Pain Committee Leader at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center, where she facilitated trauma center designations and led hospital-wide accreditation efforts. Her experience as a preceptor and committee leader underscores her commitment to mentoring healthcare professionals and advancing patient care.
Currently serving at The Medical Group Walk-In Clinic, Elizabeth combines her clinical expertise with a passion for providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare. She has also completed advanced clinical training in primary, pediatric, geriatric, and women’s care, further enriching her ability to meet diverse patient needs.
An active member of her community, Elizabeth has volunteered for numerous charitable initiatives and service projects, including hurricane relief efforts, Relay for Life fundraising, and local soup kitchen support. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and holds additional certifications in IUD and Nexplanon insertion.
