Kristin Bevilacqua
Kristin Bevilacqua, PT, DPT, has been practicing Physical Therapy for 18 years. She has worked in various settings, including pediatrics, aquatic therapy, outpatient, acute care, and the home setting. Most of her career was spent treating older adults in their home environment.
Kristin received her B.S. in Biology from Penn State University in 2001 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, in 2006. Kristin is certified in the OTAGO program, an evidence-based fall prevention program. She is also certified in the LSVT BIG for patients with movement disorders. LSVT BIG is an intensive, practical, one-on-one treatment created to help people with Parkinson’s disease (P.D.) and other neurological conditions address walking, balance, and other activities of daily living (for example, writing, dressing, and getting up from low chairs) or even job-related tasks.
Kristin’s passion is to help older adults live their best lives by achieving maximum mobility and function and staying active with a progressive and collaborative approach to therapy. Kristin aims to help patients realize and cultivate their strength and potential to reach their highest goals.
She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, while he grew up in Richmond, VA. She is happily married to her husband, Steve, and they have two daughters named Bella and Julia, both of whom are competitive gymnasts aged 13 and 11. In her free time, she enjoys running, exercising, and traveling.
