Lauren Booth

Lauren Booth is a dedicated nurse practitioner specializing in endocrinology, currently based in Columbia, SC. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Nursing from the University of South Carolina (USC) and spent nearly a decade as a registered nurse, gaining diverse experience in critical care, orthopedic/neuro, psychiatric, home health, and cardiac nursing.

Driven by her passion for advanced practice, Lauren returned to USC to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), graduating with honors in 2017.

Lauren is an active leader in the nursing community, serving on the USC College of Nursing Alumni Council since 2018 and currently holding the position of Chair. She also led the Capital Nurse Practitioner Group as President for over three years and served as Co-Executive Director until December 2023.

A former member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society’s Pi Lambda and Alpha Xi chapters, Lauren remains engaged in professional development as a current member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
