Maranda Sanders
Maranda Sanders was born and raised in South Carolina by parents who had moved from the Midwest suburbs of Chicago shortly before her birth. She moved around the state, initially settling in the upstate and then moving to the midlands. Eventually, she came to the Charleston area for college, attending Charleston Southern University, earning an Associate degree from the Trident Tech Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2003, and then a Bachelor of Health Science from MUSC in 2005. Throughout her career, Maranda has primarily worked with the adult and older adult population in both the outpatient and SNF settings. She has been fortunate enough to have spent years working with mentors in balance therapy and the amputee population, earning certifications along the way.
In her free time, Maranda enjoys being a tourist in her own town, spending time outside, or hanging around home with her husband, children, and their two dogs. They are often busy with junior golf tournaments. Maranda is excited to be part of a healthcare team that is actively growing its rehab services all over the state.
