Rikki Tonet

Rikki Leigh Tonet, Pharm.D., is an accomplished Clinical Pharmacist at Your Health with a robust career spanning over two decades in various pharmacy settings. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree with high honors from South University in Columbia, SC, in 2014. Before that, Rikki completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Coastal Carolina University, laying a solid foundation for her healthcare and pharmaceutical sciences expertise. Her diverse professional experience and dedication to patient care make her an invaluable asset to the Your Health team.

Rikki’s career is marked by extensive hands-on experience and leadership in multiple pharmacy roles. Since November 2023, she has been a Clinical Pharmacist at Your Health in Little River, SC, providing patients with comprehensive medication management and clinical support. Her previous role as a pharmacist at Loris Drug Store allowed her to focus on Medication Therapy Management (MTM), ensuring patients receive tailored medication regimens for optimal health outcomes. Rikki also held a long-standing position at CVS Pharmacy, where she progressed from a pharmacy technician to a pharmacy manager, honing her leadership, patient care, and pharmacy operations skills.

Throughout her career, Rikki has been deeply involved in community service and professional development. She has participated in numerous pharmacy practice rotations at the South Carolina Oncology Associates and the U.S. Veterans Affairs Department. Her community involvement includes serving as a Career Day speaker at Burgess Elementary School, where she inspired young students by sharing her journey in pharmacy. She has also contributed to academic literature with peer-reviewed publications, including work on Canagliflozin for Type 2 Diabetes and mood stabilizers for bipolar disorder in child-bearing women.

Beyond her professional achievements, Rikki is a committed lifelong learner and leader in the pharmacy field. She has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Mylan Institute of Pharmacy Excellence in Pharmacy Award and the Pharmaceutical Sciences Achievement Award. She is involved in professional organizations such as the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and has held leadership roles in the Gamma Upsilon Chapter of Rho-Chi.
