Melanie Scianna, MSN, APRN, AGACP-BC, is a highly skilled Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) and Critical Care Registered Nurse with 17 years of dedicated experience in the medical field. Her diverse background encompasses roles such as Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner, Critical Care RN, Relief Staff Leader, Transplant Coordinator, and Bedside Nurse.

Her past extensive experience at TeamHealth/Trident Medical Center as a Hospitalist N.P. involved comprehensive patient care, including admissions, rounding, and discharges for acutely ill adult patients. Melanie collaborated seamlessly with hospitalist colleagues, subspecialty groups, and case management to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Before her role as a nurse practitioner, Melanie served as a Critical Care R.N. at MUSC Health, where she managed critically ill patients requiring a range of interventions such as targeted temperature management, mechanical ventilation, vasopressors, and more.
