Nate Stocker
NURSE PRACTIONER
Meet Nate Stocker, a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) originally hailing from Jacksonville, FL, but his roots are in the Irmo area. Nate's educational journey led him to the University of South Carolina, where he earned both his Bachelor's and Master's of Science degrees.
With a foundation in critical care, Nate honed his skills in the ICU in the Columbia area before dedicating the last two years to serving our nation's veterans in the ER. Through these experiences, he has become proficient in both Acute and Primary care medicine, catering to the diverse health needs of individuals across the lifespan.
Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Nate's career initially focused on acute care, but his passion for primary and preventative medicine has flourished. He has developed a keen interest in managing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiac health, with a particular emphasis on stroke prevention. Nate takes pride in fostering strong connections with his patients, empowering them to actively participate in their health and well-being.
Beyond the clinic, Nate finds joy in spending quality time with his twin sons, exploring the zoo and cheering on their favorite teams at sporting events. Lake Murray is a favorite retreat for fishing and water activities, providing a well-deserved break from his dedicated work. And, of course, Nate proudly declares his allegiance as a die-hard Gamecock fan, bringing his passion for excellence into both his professional and personal life.
