Neil Windham III

Neil H. Windham III, affectionately known as Trey, is a dedicated healthcare professional with an intense commitment to service, a thirst for knowledge, and a passion for community engagement. Born and raised in Lamar, South Carolina, Trey's early experiences instilled a profound sense of responsibility towards others, which would later shape his career path.

Trey's academic journey commenced at Florence Darlington Technical College, where he earned an Associate of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology in May 2011. This foundation in technical expertise laid the groundwork for his subsequent educational pursuits. Continuing his academic odyssey, Trey earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Life Sciences from Clemson University in December 2018, showcasing his diverse interests and interdisciplinary approach to learning.

Fuelled by a desire to impact individuals' lives directly, Trey embarked on a transformative chapter by enrolling at Wingate University's Levine College of Health Sciences. In December 2021, he emerged with distinction, attaining a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. Throughout his tenure, Trey engaged in rigorous clinical rotations across various medical specialties, from ambulatory medicine to psychiatry, honing his diagnostic acumen and bedside manner.

Trey has had a versatile professional journey and has always strived for excellence. He seamlessly transitioned into Physician Assistant at Hartsville Medical Associates, where he leverages his expertise to provide comprehensive care to patients. Trey's tenure at Hartsville Medical Associates is characterized by his proficiency in conducting medical histories, diagnosing illnesses, and performing procedures with precision and empathy, embodying the ethos of patient-centered care.

Before assuming his current role, Trey served as a Medical Scribe at Scribe America, demonstrating keen attention to detail and proficiency in coding and charting through different electronic medical record platforms. Thanks to His stint as a Scribe, he sharpened his technical skills and fostered collaborative relationships with healthcare providers, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors.

Beyond traditional healthcare, Trey's entrepreneurial spirit shone through his role as Owner and Operator of CrossFit Clemson. For five years, Trey managed all facets of the business, from accounting to marketing, while imparting his expertise in training and nutrition to clients. As a fervent advocate for holistic wellness, Trey inspired individuals to lead healthier lifestyles, embodying his belief in the transformative power of physical fitness.

Trey's commitment to safety and excellence is evident in his tenure at Duke Energy, where he served as a Nuclear I&C Technician and Safety Advocate. As the person responsible for ensuring proper plant operations, Trey's meticulous calibration and troubleshooting skills were essential in maintaining a safe work environment. His tenure at Duke Energy underscored his ability to collaborate effectively and mitigate safety hazards through proactive measures.

Trey's dedication extends beyond clinical practice, as evidenced by his active involvement in community engagement initiatives. As a Youth Sunday School Teacher and Deacon at Mount Elon Baptist Church, Trey imparts invaluable lessons of faith and compassion to the next generation while serving on the Building and Grounds Committee.

Trey's academic prowess and leadership acumen have earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious NCCPA Health Foundation Grant for his outstanding oral health community outreach contributions. Additionally, his consistent presence on the Dean's and President's lists at Clemson University and Florence Darlington Technical College reflects his unwavering commitment to academic excellence.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Trey holds certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) and maintains active memberships in professional organizations such as JAAPA, NCAPA, and AAPA.
